Application
The Upholstery Flammability Test Rig is a highly effective tool used to assess the ignition resistance properties of material combinations in upholstered seating. By exposing the material to a smoldering cigarette or a burning fire source, the heat output is carefully monitored, ranging from a burning match to nearly burning four double sheets of full-size paper.
Each test rig is equipped with standard foam and the fabric being tested, providing a comprehensive evaluation of the material’s combustion process. Through precise monitoring of the combustion process, potential flammability risks can be detected and addressed.
For added versatility, optional accessories such as foam pads, wooden cribs, cutting templates, and standard cigarettes are also available to provide a customized testing experience. With the Upholstery Flammability Test Rig, you can ensure the safety and compliance of your upholstered seating materials with confidence.
