Description

Impact resistance is a key factor in determining how materials perform when exposed to sudden or repetitive shock loads. These loads can lead to material failure such as cracking, deformation, or complete rupture. Various testing methods are available to assess a material’s impact resistance, including dart impact, ball impact, pendulum impact, Izod, Charpy, and tensile tests.
