TESTEX Gelbo Flex Tester TB520
The Gelbo Flex Tester TB520 is used to evaluate the number of fiber chips of non-woven fabrics, non-woven fabrics, and medical non-woven fabrics under dry conditions, or the linting situation. Test principle: The sample is subjected to a combination of torsion and compression in the test chamber. During this twisting process, the air is extracted from the chamber and the test results are evaluated by counting and classifying the particles in the air by means of an additional instrument, namely a laser dust particle counter.

The features of TB520
The instrument is equipped with an anti-static organic glass test chamber.
Stable air inlet probe for particle sampling and collection.
Particle counters can be selected for different testing and classification requirements.
Application: Mainly applicable to medical protective materials (surgical sheets, gowns, clean suits, etc.) and other textile materials.
Test environment: Class 5 clean room (i.e. Class 100 clean environment)
The Main components of TB520
Twisting device: the test piece to produce a combination of twisting and compression, reset the device
Open twist box (anti-static): cover the twist device to test the organic glass anti-static box
Air collector: fixed in a specific location in the twist box, with a certain shape of the sampling port
A laser dust particle counter (another instrument) is required to count and classify the collected airborne particles to achieve the experimental purpose.
