TESTEX Downproof Tester (Tumble Method) TF134C
Downproof Tester TF134C is used to test the performance of fabric in stopping down or feathers dropping out from the yarn gap. Expressed as the number of feathers falling out under specified conditions. It is mainly used to test the performance of the lining of down products and fabrics in stopping the down from falling off. It complies with standards GB/T 12705.2-2009, GB/T 14272-2021.

Application
Fabric Downproof Tester (Tumble Method) TF134C, to test the down-proof performance of down and feather filled fabric in stopping down or feathers dropping out from the yarn gap. Expressed as the number of feathers falling out under specified conditions. It is mainly used to test the performance of the lining of down products and fabrics in stopping the down from falling off.
Test Principle of Fabric Downproof Tester
Place the test sample in the test apparatus tumbling box together with the silicon rubber-shaped ball. By rotating the tumbling box at a constant speed, the silicone rubber-shaped ball is brought to a certain height to impact the test sample inside the tumbling box. The whole process simulates the crushing, rubbing, and impacting of the test specimen during use. Finally, evaluate the down-proof properties of the fabric by calculating the amount of down, feathers, and filaments burrowed inside the sample per unit of relative area.
Feature
The tumbling box of TF134C can achieve counterclockwise and clockwise rotation. Thus realistically simulating the squeezing of the fabric during use, so that the test will have more reference value. The tumbling box is made of organic glass, easy to observe the entire test process. The control panel can set the rotation speed and the number of rotations, and display the number of rotations in operation to meet the requirements of different customers.
In addition, the down-proof tester has a pointing function, the tumbling box can stay in any position, which is convenient for the tester to put in the specimen, making the operation more convenient.
